Whooo yeah, finally got DRI installed here. Feels good. :)
Sometime in the looong war to get compiled, I started getting warnings
from all X programs:
ork ~ xterm
Warning: locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged
Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
Warning: X locale modifiers not supported, using default
Failed to open input method
ork ~ gnome-terminal
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
Gdk-WARNING **: can not set locale modifiers
ork ~ netscape
netscape-communicator: locale `C' not supported.
Perhaps the $XNLSPATH environment variable is not set correctly?
Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

be careful: there's an old bug in the xc tree: the stuff in the nls directo=
always installs itself in the "/usr/X11R6/", ignoring the ProjectRoot of
the config/cf directory...
the bug was corrected in the 3/4 weeks old cvs, but i think that after the
recent merge with xfree401 the bug has come back!!
