Bugs item #735997, was opened at 2003-05-11 13:08 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100387&aid=735997&group_id=387 Category: ATI OpenGL Group: Rendering Error Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Paul Hoepfner-Homme (pahohoho) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: control vertices in Maya are hardly visible Initial Comment: In Maya 4.5 (and 4.0), control vertices appear as 1-pixel dots in the viewport, making it impossible to see them when the scene contains complex geometry. I have a Radeon Mobility M6 16MB. I know this is a bug with the hardware OpenGL renderer, because when I view the identical scene using software rendering, the control vertices are painted properly. Please see the attached screenshots (software vs. hardware) and look at points surrounding the sphere. In software, they appear as little magenta squares, but in hardware, they are tiny dots. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100387&aid=735997&group_id=387 |

I'm experiencing the same behaviour with GTK-Radiant when bending patches. Rendering options in the menu don't have an effect, near invisible purple dots. (in tutorial screenshots they show up as the bigger boxes as seen in in your soft rendering shots) I was going to update to latest DRI trunk (running 2 months old snapshot ) But I'm cautious due to some warnings on the list lately. I'm using a R250 ( Radeon 9000) Paul. |
