I'd like to be able to use DPCL like Dyninst to set a break point in my code. SIGSTOP appears to be ignored when I send it to an application under DPCL's control, but SIGTRAP is not. However, AIS_main_loop() doesn't return when the process is stopped. Any suggestions for how I should implement a 'stop at' probe? With dyninst there is a probe expression for a break point. Basically, this amounts to calling a function in Dyninst's run time library. There does not appear to be such a symbol in dpcl however. My only other option would be to simplement a probemodule that just did raise(SIGSTOP). Thanks for any help, Phil |
