No

The PC speaker music in Digger doesn't work. I'm pretty
sure it worked in 0.55, so it probably has something to
do with the RealSound changes. Digger does crazy things
with the PC speaker to get decent-sounding music.

Hmm the game seems to use very short sounds, if there are sound
changes within 1 ms than it's almost impossible to emulate correctly,
there just isn't any timer resolution for it. Running it fullscreen may help to
make the sound generation cycles a bit shorter.

With 0.57 the music almost works if you lower the cycles
    past 100.

Works the same as 0.57 - if you slow down the cycles past
200 or so once the game is running you get an off-key,
bad-sounding version of the music (in DOS, the game will
play music properly even on Pentium CPUs, so speed shouldn't
    be a factor).

I did some testing with older versions, and actually the
music has never worked. The sound effects did work with
    0.55, but 0.56 broke them.

Works somewhat now, have to improve pcspeaker on-off mode
to also keep track of the movement of the pcspeaker conus
    for accurate sounding effects.

The music sounds good now if you set pcrate=44100 and mixer
freq=44100, except for a high-pitched whine when no music is
    playing.

A demo that uses the PC speaker to play digitized audio
