No

File-name-extensions longer than 3 chars are not truncated.
Bards Tale I tries to load a "city.path" file, but there's
only a "city.pat" on disc. Dos truncates the 4-char
extension,
dosbox dont, which results in a "file not found" error.
With this little change Bards Tale works under dosbox. :)

I am thinking of a fix for this. But if the extension is
simply truncated to 3 chars, will it interfere with plans to
support long filenames ? I think this was discussed
    somewhere in the forum?!

Problem fixed, won't interfere with long file names since those functions
will be converting the names to 8.3 format. Oh well someday anyway :)
