I wasn't aware that quoting was permitted instead of indentation. I'm not sure that's a good idea, particularly with literal blocks commonly rendered in a different font from the rest of the text. Here, "You just did!" probably should have the same font as the quoted text; it's IMO an unwarranted subtlety that could/would/should be avoided if literal blocks always required indentation after explicit markup.
