Also, arch doesn't appear to be (as well) supported on Win32.
(For a long time, I wasn't aware of any win32 port - searching
a bit, I found one, but it looks "unofficial", and certainly I
get the impression that core arch development is Unix-focused.
I don't know if this also affects Mac OS X.
