Is there a way to do searches from the command line? I know you can update indexes that way so I was hoping to do searches like that. What I am trying to do is send a search string to DocFetcher from MS Access to locate a document.

So a user could be working on the database and want to search for a document, so they type in keywords which Access passes to the command line which then initiates a search for the documents.

If this isn't possible, is there another way I can remotely initiate a search through DocFetcher?

Also thank you for a great product, I love DocFetcher and it has proved to be a very useful tool for me.

    Hi,

No, DocFetcher has no way of running searches from the command line.

    Best regards
