Bugs item #2000787, was opened at 2008-06-23 15:10 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=2000787&group_id=21935 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: XSL Group: output: all formats Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Justus Piater (piater) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: orgname mixed into person names Initial Comment: Run the following DocBook 4.x content through a recent stylesheet (at least fo, html or xhtml): <article> <articleinfo> <title>Author Test</title> <author> <firstname>Justus</firstname> <surname>Piater</surname> <affiliation> <orgname>University of Lige</orgname> </affiliation> </author> </articleinfo> <para>That’s it.</para> </article> The result looks something like this, treating the orgname as one of the author's names: Justus University of Lige Piater, University of Lige The culprit appears to be the person.name.first-last template in common/common.xsl. I think the respective xsl:if element should simply be removed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=2000787&group_id=21935 |

This problem was introduced in docbook-xsl-1.74.0, it was OK in docbook-xsl-1.73.2 . In particular, it was introduced in revision 7671 of common/common.xsl (committed Wed Feb 13 02:49:55 2008 UTC). Reverting that change solves this bug (i.e. removing/commenting lines 577-583 of common/common.xsl) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373747&aid=2000787&group_id=21935 |
