Using Slides v. 3.0.0.

xhtml/slides-common.xsl includes this line:

<xsl:import
href="http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/xhtml/chunk.xsl"/>

This makes it hard to use Slides if you are offline or
behind a firewall. Please consider packaging together
the appropriate XSL files from the standard DocBook XSL
distribution and including them in the Slides
distribution so that it is self-contained.

    No, that would make the distribution huge and would tie them
    together.

    Use an XML Catalog or other entity resolution mechanism to
    make the URI point to a local file. (Saxon, Xalan, and
    xsltproc all support XML Catalogs).
