In dealing with the recent build issue mentioned on this list I'm curious
Version 1.85, the last totally-free release of Berkeley DB, is included on
lots of the free UNIXes now. However some of them include those functions
inside their general C libraries (*BSD) while others include them as their
own libraries (Linux).
Has anyone seen an instance of the OpenSSL functions being included as
part of the stock C library yet?
I ask mainly because my solution to this issue involves making an explicit
call to the external libraries libcrypto and libssl, but that may not work
in all cases if such distributions exist.
