It would be very helpful if the search box at the bottom of the quick paste windows supported regular expressions, probably as an option not turned on by default.
For example, I remembered that I had copied something that was a bunch of numbers followed by a capital U. I didn't remember what the numbers were, but if regular expressions were supported I could just type
\d+U
and find my result instantly instead of having to search through hundreds of entries to find the one that started with digits and ended with a U.
