We have just released version 1.3 of DirectShowLib, the library that allows
access to DirectShow interfaces from c# and vb.net. You can find the latest
63 more interfaces tested, including all remaining (testable) interfaces in
DirectShow 9.0c. We have also added 3 new samples:
Samples\BDA\DTViewer - use BDA to display Digital TV into a Windows Form.
Samples\VMR9\VMR9Allocator2 - an alternative to the DirectShow
Samples\Misc\Toolkit - A collection of useful utilities.
38 Deprecated & undocumented
86 Others not scheduled to be tested
0 left to be tested (Yipee!!!!!!!)
See Interfaces.txt for the current list of tested interfaces.
Since all the existing DS interfaces are now tested, no more releases of
this library are planned until Microsoft releases a new version (or until
bugs are found in the existing library).
However, additional samples, and "sister" libraries (DirectDraw, Windows
Media Format, etc) are being discussed. There has also been talk of
wrapping these low-level interfaces into classes and making a true
DirectShow Class library. We'll see.
