Hi, I'm running the v 1.44 on XP SP3 and from the DirSyncPro help I found out that the memory allocation could be changed by starting the DirSyncPro with a command like:
%windir%\system32\java.exe -Xmx1000M -jar "C:\Program Files\DirSyncPro 1.44\DirSyncPro.jar"
So, the above is what I put into the "location" box of a new shortcut (and also I check the "run minimized" option of that shortcut so the dos box stays down). My laptop only has 2000MB so it did not allow to use more than the 1000 MB (the DirSyncPro simply did not start with -Xmx1500M setting). On my more capable desktop PC I can allocate much more ram to the DirSyncPro.
I have not been doing any kind of accurate testings but I do get the feeling that the jobs now run a little faster. Could it be true?
