#199 UI very unresponsive

I am using 1.45 to synchronize files from a remote PC that I am connected to by VPN. I synchronize only from remote to local. There are not many files, just dozens, but they vary in size from a few bytes to occasionally a few gigabytes. Once I start the analysis, the UI becomes unresponsive. when the mouse is over the application, it becomes the 'please wait' spinning circle of Windows 7. I can't pause, stop or even close the application. I can't scroll down the sync queue or change to the messages tab. the progress bars update in real time, but the sync queue display does not.

Is this app using worker thread(s)? Is this normal behavior? Are there settings to improve this? Or should I make this a feature request?
