Work at SourceForge, help us to make it a better place! We have an immediate need for a Support Technician in our San Francisco or Denver office.
I am never been around.
I am from VLC media player team and I just activated the dirac codec in our automatic nightly buildings for windows. And soon for MacOS-X.
However, for our QA, I would like to know where I can find some good samples for playing tests.
Raw data files in RGB format can be found on Dirac project Downloads section on Sourceforge. We have files here in the CIF, SD and HD720 dimensions. To use them with Dirac you'll need to convert them from RGB format to planar yuv (4:2:0, or 4:2:2 or 4:4:4) formats supported by Dirac. The Dirac tree comes with utils to do this conversion. Section 4.2 File Formats in the README file in the main Dirac directory has instructions as to how to do the conversion.
