Work at SourceForge, help us to make it a better place! We have an immediate need for a Support Technician in our San Francisco or Denver office.
I am going nuts trying to figure this out. Everywhere i have gone the api show http://host:port/portal/start.action. I have built the source and all is working greatly. However, there is no portal. I mounted the VMWare version and saw that there was a dimdim.war file in webapps. However, didn't work for VMWar version either. Does Open Source version support the API documentation that is listed. What am I doing wrong. Please help!!!
Thank you in advance
You are using the portal API guide. We release our meeting server as open source under the GPL. The portal technology is not under the GPL.
Please use the Web Meeting Server API Guide, which is available in the docs on SourceForge at:

thank you for you quick reply. One more quick question. I saw on the site that dimdim 5.0 has been released. Is it also being released the the open source community? If so, when is that release suppose to take effect and will that release also include source code?
The team hasn't had a chance to package the v5 release for open source yet. I expect they'll be working on it in the next few weeks.
Just a quick not to all those reading this thread. The url listed aboves downloads the source code for v4.5. The API guide is found at https://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=176809&use_mirror=softlayer&filename=Dimdim_v4.5_SF_Docs.zip&a=87146357
Thank you to kevin for pointing me in the right direction.
