Evenin' list, Or, it's evening here on the U.S.'s east coast... I just uncovered a small bug in the Makefile for v1.9.7. If I run configure without the --disable-plugin option, make install blows chunks: # ./configure [...] # make install [...] { if test ! -d /usr/local/libexec; then /usr/bin/ginstall -c -d 755 /usr/local/libexec; fi; \ /usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 /usr/local/libexec; } || true /usr/bin/ginstall: too few arguments Try `/usr/bin/ginstall --help' for more information. /usr/bin/ginstall -c dictdplugin-config /usr/local/bin But, "configure --disable-plugin" does not bump into this problem. It apears that the problem is the install invocation "/usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 /usr/local/libexec" There's nothing being ginstall-ed to /usr/local/libexec, which is why install blows up.
