I relatively new to DL and I'm facing the following problem. I'm
searching a hook (e.g. a shell script or something) to run "ddup" after
reconnection of an ADSL link due to forced disconnect of the provider.
There's a german DSL-Router Howto that references the file
"/etc/ppp/ip-up" to use for this matter and it states to just include
the ddup command in this file. Unfortunately this file seems to have
gone missing in an earlier release... ;)
Can anyone point me to the right direction?
Another thing just out of curiosity...
Devil Linux is using seperate Firewall scripts for each NIC and the
rules are directly written to the init script. Is there a reason why
"iptables-save" and "iptables-restore" that are present on the
distribution aren't used to save and restore iptables configuration for
Anyway... Thanks in advance... ;)
