This email is to inform you of release '1.1.12' of 'Postfix' through
freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at
The changes in this release are as follows:
1.1.11 disallows RCPT TO: , exports the MAIL_CONFIG variable to
postdrop, renames the Mailbox-Line header to X-Mailbox-Line for
sendmail compatibility, and changes the example from domain.name to
domain.tld. 1.1.12 "fixes a malformed address problem" related to
garbage in "user@..."@domain address forms that causes SMTP or
LMTP clients to exit prematurely.
Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used
Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer,
and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail
compatible enough to not upset your users.
