This email is to inform you of release '3.0.5' of 'procps' through
freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at
The changes in this release are as follows:
The man pages have been cleaned up a bit. The vmstat bi and bo columns
were mixed up on Linux 2.5.xx. The pgrep and pkill commands now have
-o for selecting the oldest matching process. Super-wide displays
won't crash top anymore. RPM generation should work better. The code
has been cleaned up. Things ought to run a bit faster, but this
hasn't been verified.
procps is a package of utilities which report on the state of the
system, including the states of running processes, amount of memory
available and currently-logged-in users.
