Hi, I have two Ip addresses that I would like to assign to two subdomains. I see that the RV042 is now supported. Do I still have to run two instances of ddclient to achieve this? I've found a reference to a mailing list article but it's disappeared. https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?sg_id=20080924120754.GA15984%40astaro.com
The latest version should support dual-wan but I've never tested it personally. It was a patch provided by a user of ddclient.
Thanks for the reply. I am using 3.8.2 and can confirm that it does indeed work. I had the login and password repeated in both lines and that was confusing things. It was returning the wrong hash. My config is now:
protocol=freedns, use=cmd, cmd="findRV042IP.sh 0" mydomain1.com
protocol=freedns, use=cmd, cmd="findRV042IP.sh 1" mydomain2.com
and it works nicely. (The shell uses SMTP to get the IP addresses, the ddclient RV042 support works as well but needs the username and password for the router which I'd rather not have in the config file)
