Good morning, I just installe dubuntu 9.10 on an ASUS laptop and tried to control my external monitor Samsung SyncMaster 971P whith ddccontrol. Both my graphic card (lspci give: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)) and the monitor are given as supported by ddccontrol, but when i launch it whith: LANG= LC_ALL= ddccontrol -p -c -d it give this output: ============================================= ddccontrol version 0.4.2 Copyright 2004-2005 Oleg I. I found a link where it seems that the problem is solved, but I don't undertand how to do this... :-( link: http://old.nabble.com/-ddccontrol-users--Samsung-SyncMaster-971P-Analog-td20874630.html What's wrong? Is there a solution? Thank you in advance for help. Stefano |
