No problem :)
this lib is great!:)
I searched for a long time for some good libs which would be simple enough to get easily understood and this is it...
Thanks, glad you like it. :)
Dlib is very helpful Library :) thank you :) . I did implement Face detection program , it takes 120 seconds(image size:1280x720) to detect one face. tried resizing the image , it picks up speed to some extent , can you tell me how do I increase the speed other than resizing the image . Iam working on a single image ,so i think threads are not of much use
Did you enable SSE4 or AVX? You can do this by looking at the cmake
options, either via ccmake or cmake-gui and setting SSE4 to on (or AVX
if you have a CPU from about 2013 or later). That should make it
faster. Or if you are rolling your own
Also, shrinking the image should give a speedup proportional to the
size reduction. So, for example, if you went from 1280x720 to 640x480
it should be 4x faster. Is that what you observed?
Thanks for the response :) , I am working on windows ,following the instructions I did enable the enhanced instruction set SSE2, but no change in time. I think I will have to go with resizing the image.
Thank you for your time :) . have a good day .
Did you turn on SSE4 or just SSE2?
