In the lucene_domain_index.pdf I see "Linux/Windows Database Oracle 10g 10.2/11g production" in the Install\Requirements section. As I know this software is written on java, java is supported on unix platforms.
Is lucene domain index supported on unix platforms (Solaris, Aix ...)?

Sure, Lucene Domain Index is supported on any Oracle installation because is pure Java/PLSQL.
To install in Solaris/AIX for example you only need to download Apache Ant 1.8.x and configure properly de JAVA_HOME variable as is described into the install section of the doc.
