A "status bar" should exist in the ui, beneath the result set grid, that shows RowCountReturned, current database connection, and any messages returned by the server.
The rowCountReturned is displayed in a tooltip when placing the mouse cursor over the result grid.
The current database connection is displayed in the title bar.
When the server returns a message, this is displayed in a popup.
No reason to put this information on screen twice.
