Im running DB Converter 1.6.2 in command line mode. My command line is as follows: "C:\\Program Files\\DB Converter 1.6.2\\DBCnvrtr.exe" /convert MySQL C: \mdb_files\avena\linker.mdb C:\mdb_files\out\linker Yes The output file is 8k and has lines like this: VALUES (,11,15,,NULL) If I do the same operation with the GUI, then the output file is 11k, and it contains lines like this: VALUES ("Ped - Gnomad",11,15,"http://gnomad.agr.ca/ped/",NULL); So it would seem that with the command line, its not outputting the strings. Im also curious about a way to upload to a MySQL database from the command line? We are looking to automate the conversion from .mdb to mysql nightly. Another less important bug, when you run DBCnvrtr.exe with command line options to output to a folder thats empty, it gives this error: The path "C:\mdb_files\out2\" does not exist. It cannot be output to. Yet im 110% sure that folder exists. This error goes away if I put any file in that folder. Thank you for your open source application and all the great work you guys do. -- Paul Faure Web Services IST fa...@ag... 613.759.6104 |

DBC 1.6.1 has been released today. It includes support for multiple languages, and ships with English, Spanish, and German (Swiss Dialect). Many thanks to our translators. There are some other bug fixes included, but please look at the change log for details. If you create language packs, please submit them to: dbconverter *_AT_* zenwerx *_DOT_* com We will add them to the webserver for easy download by others. Please note there are some longer strings near the end of the pack. They have been split into several pieces and can be played with for the best look. DBC# is on its way. The plugin system/interface is working, and now some plugins need to be created. The plan is for DBC# to ship with *at least* the same functionality that DBC has at its current state, and possibly more. When it gets to a decent stage, we'll add it to the CVS as well. - Michael Carpenter |
