I browse through a workgroup, down to a workstation,
but don't see a list of shares (even though I know
several exist). I'm not asked to authenticate in any way.

When I add the known share name to the URL, I am
asked to authenticate, after which things work as I
expect. When I browse back, the share I just went to
still isn't listed.

This limits it's use as 'network neighbourhood', via a web
browser.

I'd love to be able to show this to the I.S. department
but this little issue prevents that.

Also, a few folder icons (in the web view) would really
help 'Windows users' adopt davenport.

Great otherwise!

Terminating transmission.

If you set the "alwaysAuthenticate" configuration parameter
in web.xml to "true", it should authenticate you (rather
than connecting anonymously, which is what causes the empty
share list). You could alternatively set
    "jcifs.smb.client.domain", "jcifs.smb.client.username", and
    "jcifs.smb.client.password" to specify default credentials
    to use when browsing anonymously.

When you browse back to the server after authenticating,
however, the list of shares *should* be present... this may
be related to an issue fixed in 0.9.7, so upgrading to that
    release may address the problem.
