When running make I get:

inode.c:622: parse error before string constant
inode.c:622: warning: type defaults to 'int' in declaration of 'MODULE_LICENSE'
inode.c:622: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
make[2]: ***[inode.o] Error 1

This is on a redhat 7.2 distro & kernel version 2.4.7-10 -- any known problems or workarounds? I'm
researching it but if anyone's run into this I'd appreciate the pointer.

Nevermind, but thanks, I found the diff file. A-ok now.

This happens when you are running an older 2.4.x kernel. Go
to davfs/inode.c and comment out the three lines:

    MODULE_AUTHOR
    MODULE_DESCRIPTION
    MODULE_LICENSE

by putting them between /* and */

    should work fine then....
