Just downloaded and played around with davfs2. I'm doing some
research/design work for some content management software solutions.
I'm curious about the usafe of Coda in davfs. Do you use it just to have
something easy to work with when you need to mount a filesystem, or is
there more than that?
If you are using coda simply as a filesystem backend, did you have a look
at lufs (user space filesystem) http://lufs.sourceforge.net
Doing an lufs-based version would be sweet.
Actually, why I'm asking about coda, is because afaik coda supports
disconnected operation and local caching. What I'm thinking about is
maintaining as much data as possible locally cached to make the access
lighting fast. With possibly an explicit 'sync' command. I was under the
impression that davfs did that .. but it seems not after mounting a few
dav reps and playing around..
