Installing davfs under Gentoo give an error message
which is only cosmetical. I tried to figure out where
it comes from to create a patch, but did not found any
solution. Here is the output during emerge (Gentoo
install program) :

...
else ln -sf /usr/sbin/mount.davfs /sbin/mount.davfs 2>
/dev/null; fi

Congratulations! DAVFS2 is installed successfully.

    Hello Toralf,

please contact the Gentoo people. It is a pure Gentoo issue.
Davfs2 does not know anything about "emerge" and this kind
    of error messages.

    Greetings
    Werner
