Hello Paolo, ACL are not implemented over Extended Attributes on MacOS X. The only options I use during restore are -x -g -I -R You can check that the extended attributes storing the ACL are present in the archive using: dar -l <archive> -alist-ea or for a particular file: dar -l <archive> -alist-ea -g <some/file/in/the/archive> Note: this feature is available since release 2.4.0. If the EA is present, try restoring that file with verbose output (-v), you should see dar trying to restore the EAs of that file, possibly complaining that if failed and then giving the error returned by the system. > > I have to add some other option to have acl restored? No, by default dar saves as much as it can and restores as much as it can too, issuing warning if it failed restoring something properly. Options are always here to restrict this behavior (not restore all files, not restore some EA, etc.) > > Thank you very much > > Piviul > Kind Regards, Denis. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD8DBQFP5GYmpC5CI8gYGlIRAjHwAJ90wAqWHDUzHLcHx4tRTbfxb0TcnACeII60 QjW5cRIc77qn9aMkYnyBg98= =pgXK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
