We all know how daloRADIUS is lacking in documentation and while this strong
community of users
and developers is helpful and nothing short of a price-less resource to
learn about dalo there is still the
demand for an official documentation of some kind besides the INSTALL file.
Being the lead developer made the documentation slip away from me every time
due to improvements
of new features, bugs and general maintenance of the software.
As some of you may know, a draft documentation was in the works (about 60
pages) but time
has proven that freeing myself from other obligations to write a complete
manual isn't going to
happen, which is why I have now thought about another approach - breaking
down the chapters of
the complete manual into pieces.
The idea is to work on specific chapters and in-time aggregate all of these
together into a complete
user's manual. To support the documentation effort these small chapters,
tutorials or booklets are
available for purchasing through the website at daloradius.com and are
priced at merely a
contribution-level price tag.

There have already been a couple of users checking out the documentation and
feedback is good.
I'd appreciate any feedback on the documentation for improvements.
This also opens the place for documentation-by-demand where-as, if there's
sufficient voites on a
specific chapter documentation which everybody would like to learn more
about then I can definitely
steer more resources at that.
Thanks for being such a great community, all of you!
