Hi,

I’ve installed nautilus from the cygwin-ports and although the application starts, it seems to have some small problems. The most visible problem is that it displays only a (large) generic ‘file’ icon on everything: all types of files, and even all types of folders.

I have no idea what is the cause of this; I see no warnings in the console. I have no idea what package I should install to fix this, or if it’s related to the GConf2 problem of not having  a writable database.

Icons for a number of other items seem to be missing as well; it actually seems to me that I only have generic GTK+ icons but none of the Gnome icons despite the fact that gnome-icon-theme, hicolor-icontheme, and even gnome-themes are all installed.

Does anyone have a clue what’s wrong here?

Cheers,
