I'm able to freeze a simple script in a plain vanilla Python 3.3.3 install. However I'm trying to use one of the various pre-built matplotlib stacks. Pyzo2013c is working fine for me on 64 bit Debian 7, OSX 10.9 and 32 bit Windows XP sp3 and I've build a simple data viewer for mapping 3-d geophysical data. And the same code runs fine in the WinPython environment. HOWEVER, I've been stuck almost a day when trying to freeze my .py script into a deploy-able application (for Windows). cx_Freeze-4.3.2.win32-py3.3 can't recognize the python installation inside pyzo on Windows XP. It seems to depend on registry entries rather than the PYTHONHOME or PYTHONPATH environment variables. cxFreeze's installer dies with "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run....." So, I'm not sure who know best how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate any advice. (Or a fix...)
