I'm having a problem with the command line options.
It's on Solaris 5.6.
What I did was:
1) Download ctags-5.2.tar.gz
2) gunzip ctags-5.2.tar.gz
3) tar xvf ctags-5.2.tar
4) cd ctags-5.2
5) ./configure --prefix=/home/r3825c
7) make install
This failed. It failed using /usr/local/bin/strip so I
modified the Makefile to set STRIP = /usr/ccs/bin/strip
8) Re-ran make install
Now ctags is in my ~/bin dir. etags link is there.
Man pages are in ~/man/man1.
When I execute ctags, the -x option works but the
--help and --extra=+q options do not work.
% ctags --help
-h: No such file or directory
-e: No such file or directory
-l: No such file or directory
-p: No such file or directory
I'm attaching the config files generated.
Sorry to bother you and thanks for them help. Contact
