Good question. I have put the build process into a wrapper script and did 200 loops. None of the builds were successful. However, the failures varied randomly. For the curious, here are the results: -> grep '\[junit\] MockSuccess' build.out|sort|uniq -c 131 [junit] MockSuccess expected:<2> but was:<0> 12 [junit] MockSuccess expected:<2> but was:<1> 13 [junit] MockSuccess expected:<4> but was:<0> 44 [junit] MockSuccess expected:<4> but was:<2> I guess it has something to do with reading the output of the executed shell process in MavenBuilder, but it's not easy to trace if you don't have a reproducible test case.
