Platform: Asus G55VW - i7-3630QM Windows 8, SP/Update current to 2013-04-21
Downloaded and Unzipped. CR3.exe starts fine from command line. No matter which of many .epub docs I try to open, every time the app crashes before anything is ever displayed. The "info" provided is:

Any .epub seems to cause this. Suspect environment of course - the files are not extraordinary. The env is Win 8 (I didn't see any info, yet anyway, as to suitability for running on Win 8 - should probably check forums). Cheers.
Looks like copy-protection issue I'd guess.
Doh. Well -- crashing is probably not the desired behavior, but --- I thought I had tried some DRM-free .epub files, but turns out that they open fine. The files that cause crash are -- I have the rights to these files. There is a manifest dir, etc.. but a bit rusty on security details anyway.
This must be a DRM issue (generic usage of DRM -- not sure of what sec. tech is involved ;-)
