Hi Steve, I had troubles with the new dictionnaries (downloaded them today, for french and english). I get many of this messages (when spellchecking for the first time): Error detected while processing /usr/share/vim/cream/spelldicts/cream-spell-dict-eng-s_3.vim: line 2: E401: Pattern delimiter not found: "\<\(aren't\|can't\|couldn't\|didn't\|doesn't\|don't\|haven't\|is n't\|they're\|wasn't\|won't\|wouldn't\|you're\|contained\|contain s\|display\|extend\)\> As you can see, there is no double quote at the end of the line. In fact, all lines starting with 'syntax match GoodWord "\<...' lack this double quote at the end. I think that's a bug in your makedict program, but I've not had time yet to check that. Applying this quick sed command in my "spelldicts" directory fixed it: sed -i 's:^\(.*>\)$:\1":' cream-spell-dict-*.vim Apart from that, this .31beta seems to work very fine here (as far as I could test this aftenoon). Also, a little request: could you add a version number (or a -YYYYMMDD timestamp) in your dictionnaries archives filenames? Because for the Gentoo packages, since the distribution is source-based, we mirror and md5sum this files, and not having a filename change when a file actually is updated can lead users to either download some outdated versions from the mirrors, or download some updated versions from the original source but then get some md5 check errors.
