I am dependent now on the VimOutliner plugin for managing my outlines
and enjoy the keystroke-efficiency of using vim with this plugin.
VimOutliner is modal, and doesn't work in Cream mode. However, I have
been trying to get in the habit of using Cream for all of my editing
needs, since I have just rolled it out to all of our development &
customer support staff as our standard editor.
Is it feasible to allow Vim "expert" mode to be enabled per-buffer
(automatically triggered by filetype, e.g. "todo.otl") while using Cream
or Cream lite mode everywhere else? That way, within a single Cream
instance I could have open my code, my code specifications document, and
my outliner all at once instead of having to also have gvim running
separately so I can use VimOutliner for organizing my TODO items.
