Hi, I was hesitating whether to keep gedit when I already have gvim... gvim has some annoying things that kept me from removing gedit, but then I found cream. I think I have enough to say I don't need gedit. However, I do want an additional feature added. I use Ctrl+Space for switching to chinese X Input Method. This works fine in gedit or gvim, but since it's reserved in cream, I can't do that. Sorry if this is already possible. If it is, can somebody tell me how to do it? Can you give me an idea of how you set this in gvim? If a keymap, we've listed several in the Settings > Preferences > Keymap menu (although I don't see Chinese--just fixed CVS version to menu all Vim's available keymaps though). Another way is to just overwrite Cream's mapping with your own by putting it into your ~/.cream/cream-user.vim file: imap <silent> <C-Space> <C-o>: ... <CR> (Replacing "..." for whatever command you usually enter at the command line to do it.) Does that work? -- Steve Hall [ dig...@mi... ] Cream... the Vim text editor in sheep's clothing! http://cream.sourceforge.net |
