Yes,
 adding "-U" "NONE" "--servername" "CREAM" helped.
I am sorry but the installer was in a very strange language, could be Nowrwegian or Swedish or something like that (sorry to Scandinavian folks!), it's impossible to find out what to check or not...

Did you make sure the "Add Desktop icon" box was checked in the
installer? It is off by default.

The target for the current Cream should look something like this (all
one line):

"C:\Program Files\vim\vim71\gvim.exe" "-u" "C:\Program Files\vim\vim71\cream\creamrc" "-U" "NONE" "--servername" "CREAM"


Did that work?
