Hello there,
I have an Acer Aspire running Suse 9.0 with a 2.6.7rc2
Kernel and cpufreqd1.1.2
Since my Laptop has no usable PSTs I use ACPI perflib.
When doing cat scaling_available_frequencies I get
frequency values that differ about 50kHz after every
reboot. Since the values are not always the same my
cpufreqd.conf file is useless if the frequencies there
do not match the required available frequencies.
Do you know this problem? Is there any workaround?
Thanks

Uwe

the CpuFreq governors automagically set a rounded (towards
available frequencies) frequency. The Performance governor
ceils, while the powersave governor (and userspace also)
    floors the inputted value.

You either may ask cpufreq developers what's going on on you
particular system or try to stick with the problem and
create a cpufreqd configuration that takes care of it.
