Dear CppUnit'ers -
We are currently running the CppUnit tests on Windows for our application and are able to generate the XML results file that we parse and display its apposite HTML counterpart. The problem we are having is when we run the LINUX version of the "Tests" on a LINUX box, the tests do appear to run to completion as corroborated by the generated log fil but the for some inexplicable reason, the XML result file is not generated. This has been independently corroborated by 3 different folks who ran the "Tests" on 3 different but recent builds of our application.
Is there an inherect problem with CppUnit not being able to generate the result XML filr for LINUX executions? Any one who can shed some light on this problem ?
PS: You can also directly email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you put some debugs into the xmloutputter code around the point where the log file gets created, I am betting you it fails to create the file, just print out the posix error-code and act accordingly.
I had to debug this once and found it was a security issue - I probably just chmod'ed it or something, I remember not, I hope this clue helps.
