Category: Interface Group: v2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Steven Grimm (koreth) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Middle mouse button acts like left button Initial Comment: I have a three-button USB mouse (actually a trackball) and I want to use the middle mouse button on the remote machine. But CotVNC seems to pass middle-button clicks through to the other side as left-button clicks. For example, in an xterm window that's displayed on the remote host, when I click the middle button it starts a new selection instead of pasting the current selection like it's supposed to. Middle-button emulation works fine, of course, but I'd rather use my real middle button! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Vincent Lefèvre (vinc17) Date: 2006-01-10 11:12 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=681811 I have no problem with the middle button of my USB mouse (Logitech Mouseman Traveler optical mouse) under Mac OS X 10.4.3. This is strange... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-12-18 19:14 Message: Logged In: NO Funny, for me, the middle button is totally ignored. [I have a Kensington Optical Elite mouse - 4 buttons + clicking scroll wheel] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507159&aid=1339774&group_id=64347 |
