I've been having this problem for a while -- I am working from my Mac
iBook G4 controlling a Linux machine at school using Chicken of the VNC
in full screen mode. For some reason, my net connection hiccups, and I
lose internet connectivity of some sort, causing me to basically lose
the connection to the VNC server. Not a big deal, I'll just reconnect.
But when I'm in full screen mode, I can't get out of it. I set my full
screen mode toggle to APPLE+~, which works fine when I have the
connection. If I lose my connection while in full screen mode, it stops
working, as does the default CTRL+OPTION+APPLE+~. ALT+TAB doesn't do
anything (it doesn't ALT+TAB on my Mac) and neither does F8, F9, F10,
F11. Basically, I get stuck with a desktop that's frozen and I'm forced
to restart my machine.
This is really annoying, since I like full screen mode to work -- I can
ALT+TAB on the Linux machine and get around easily. Any ideas on why
this may be happening?
