Feature Requests item #1158866, was opened at 2005-03-08 03:05 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507162&aid=1158866&group_id=64347 Category: Networking Improvements Group: Next Major Release Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: tlmurray (tlmurray) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: A stealth, or watch-only mode Initial Comment: I used to use this for monitoring my kids on-line activities, but they caught on because the pointer in the system being viewed sort of "flashes" or gets a bit jittery. I suppose this is the viewed system dealing back and forth, watching for input from either system. The suggestion is for sort of a silent stealth, or watch-only mode, where the system doing the remote viewing (the Chicken side) can only see what's happening, but not provide any input. I realize that VNC (the server side, say, RealVNC) has settings to disable input from clients, but I don't want to disable it on the server side as I want to be able to take control when I need to. Therefore I understand that my suggestion may not be possible, since the server behavior might be completely driven by the server; thus, Chicken might not be able to do anything about it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=507162&aid=1158866&group_id=64347 |
