Hi,

I'm running Chicken of the VNC to a MAC with OSXvnc server.
I seems thatChicken can only show 2 mouse pointer. The regular one, and a dot when the mouse pointer has a different shape : beachball / Or Filemaker's command + dot symbol.

Any chance to have on the client the same pointer shape as on the server ? Sometimes it's difficult to determine the state of an appliactaion running on the server because of this (filemaker in my case)

I'm trying to figure this out.

It seems that CotVNC needs to enable a "pseudo-encoding" called "rfbEncodingRichCursor" (or something related) and handle the corresponding messages sent by the server. This idea comes from looking at CotVNC code, OSXvnc code, and the RFB Protol specification for a few hours (for the first time).

I hope I can figure this out.

Does anybody know how to enable new encodings on CotVNC?

p.s., I would also like to enable the encoding that updates the pointer, but that may be redundant with the Rich Cursor encoding enabled.
