    I came over here looking to add this suggestion myself. It would be very
    nice if I did not need to first

    #!/bin/sh
    LOGIN=remote_users_loging_name
    HOST=abc.qrs.xyz
    LOCALHOST=127.0.0.1
    PORT=5900
    DISPLAY=5
    FROMPORT=$(($PORT + $DISPLAY))
    ssh -l ${LOGIN} -L ${FROMPORT}:${LOCALHOST}:${PORT} ${HOST}

    If this COTvnc could store this information and the security stuff in the
    keychain, it would make life much easier.

    PS. COTvnc 2.0b2 Rocks! Good job.

    If you use SSHKeyChain, you can save your SSH tunnel
    definitions within it and then only have a localhost VNC
    profile that connects to the SSH tunnel you defined in
    SSHKeyChain.

    dup of #1042123

    I have made a quick (30 minute?) hack to do this. I check if the profile starts
    with a '$'. If so, I run a ssh and make cotvnc use some new port. Then, I put a
    '(SSH): ' in front of the title to remind myself.

    it doesn't clean up the sshes. It doesn't do a good job choosing ports.

    If I can contribute it (fun with lawyers..) it would only be as "incentive" for
    someone to do a better job. It suits my purposes just fine but it's pretty bad
    code. Comments? thoughts?
