Login with passwordfile via cmd

    Hello,
    i want to use the command line to start cotvnc. A password is needed for the server.
    How can i create a password file to use with the login

    The short answer is that the password file can be created by the vncpasswd utility, which isn't part of CotVNC, but can be obtained as part of TightVNC, TurboVNC, and probably other VNC packages.

    The better answer is that you should use the updated version of CotVNC called Chicken:

    http://chicken.sourceforge.net/

    Chicken will prompt you for a password if you need one. Or, you make a new server in the Open Connection window, use the Save Password checkbox to save the password in Keychain. Then you can launch this connection from the command-line using the name you've assigned to this server.

    I went crazy by trying different password generation.
    cant save the connection, ´cause the ip often changes.
    I need the command line to start chicken with a script.
